Intel 270K Benchmarks Leak | Xbox Is Doomed Some VERY concerning comments from the Xbox CEO has shed some concerning light onto the next gen Xbox - codenamed Xbox Magnus. According to her, the Xbox Next will be a "premium" and "high end" experience - which means an MSRP price to match. That plus some recent leaks in the industry are hinting at an INSANE price tag for the Xbox Magnus console - up to $1200! But would Microsoft really set such a high price for their next gen Xbox? And just what kind of hardware specs and performance could we see that would justify the premium pricing? Only time will tell. In terms of specificiations the Playstation 6 will likely be outperformed by the next generation Xbox, with the PS6 allegedly featuring fewer WGP, a narrower memory bus and perhaps even less Zen 6 CPU cores. But will this even matter in the grand scheme, as we're not totally sure about cache layouts, clock frequencies or how OS and driver layers will affect performance. We also have some updates on the Intel Arrow Lake refresh, as some benchmark and specifications have leaked for the Arrow Lake Ultra 9 290K Plus, and the Ultra 7 270K plus CPUs. Overall, Intel's refresh for Arrow Lake isn't 'bad' but, it also doesn't drastically increase the performance or uArch improvements. Higher clocks, better memory support will help - but in the face of rumors of AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 (which is a dual-x3d configuration part) based on Zen 5, and AMD generally holding a decent advantage over Intel in many benchmarks for Ryzen 9000 based CPUs versus the Ultra 200 series, it will be intriguing to see how things shape up. The real fight of course will be AMD's Zen 6 Ryzen processors (Medusa) versus Intel's next generation Nova Lake parts.
