WW2 Hero's Watch Restored – Vintage Dirty Dozen Style Military Watch

During the final years of the war, a 21-year-old Swiss Red Cross medic was stationed at a remote border post in the Jura Mountains. Unarmed, as required by Switzerland's strict neutrality, he carried nothing but a medical kit… and this watch. From 1943 to 1945, he saved dozens of lives - wounded refugees, lost children, and desperate souls fleeing the horrors of war. Now, 80 years later, his watch has found its way to me through his grandson Luca, a viewer of this channel. In this video, I restore this humble military-style Recta - a Dirty Dozen lookalike - and pay tribute to the man who wore it.
