This time i´am restoring a Breitling Colt Automatic Watch. I´ve found it in a mixed lot of some other watches. Lucky me, it´s not a fake one. It´s powered by the Breitling B17 automatic movement, a modified ETA 2824-2. It beats at 28800bph and the lift angle of the balance is at 52°. The referencenumber of this Breitling is A17035 and it´s made between 1992 and 1998. The movement works but gains over 800 seconds per day. The crystal has some scratches and the case and bracelet is heavily used. The luminous color of the hands has come off and the bezel is stuck. I need to disassemble the whole movement, clean all the parts and re-assemble it with some fresh oil. After cleaning the case, the bezel turns freely again. The ultrasonic cleaner has erased the black paint and the luminous pip on the bezel as well. Anyway, it was in a bad shape already. After polishing the case and the bracelet, i fill some black paint into the bezel and bake it. Add some luminous color to the bezel-pip and seal it with UV-Glue. The hands also need some fresh luminous paint. After fitting a new sapphire crystal on the case, the watch can be assembled again. I hope you liked this restoration, if so, like, comment and subscribe ;) Subscribe to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/RedDeadRestoration?sub_confirmation=1 ___________________________________ Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reddeadrestoration/ My Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/YTRedDeadRestoration ___________________________________ Acrylic Glass Polishing Compound: https://amzn.to/2XIP8vF ** Case Polishing Diamond Paste: https://amzn.to/2Ye1MSo ** Case Polishing Wadding: https://amzn.to/2UlNfme ** Multi-Purpose Watch-Repair-Kit: https://amzn.to/2XIQ7Mn ** Multitool: https://amzn.to/2BNryW9 ** Buffing Wheels for Multitool: https://amzn.to/30gJCSF ** My Camera: https://amzn.to/3h4Ty7w ** ** Affiliate Links Disclaimer: This video and description contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive a small commission.
