When the fish won't bite anything else, try the realistic fishing desperation rig! I started out fishing with a Texas Rig, then a Ned Rig, nothing! So before I get skunked I decide to tie on my ultra desperation rig. The rig consists of a 1 inch Gulp minnow, a small jig head, and a weighted cigar float. Once I make the change, I start catching fish. Big fish! I am talking about 9 inch bluegill. When I couldn't catch anything on bigger lures, I went with the finesse approach.
