Topwater Bass Fishing In Late Summer! Easier To Catch Than Bluegill

Which fish is easier to catch bass or bluegill? Today it's bass! I start out the session fishing with a desperation rig because the fishing has been so bad lately. After fishing for bluegill for a while with no catches, I change lures to a topwater popper. Then I catch a beautiful largemouth bass that weigs about two pounds! As the sun goes down I catch another bass on the Rebel Pop-R! I couldn't catch any bluegill today, but I did catch two largemouth bass. Beginner fishing tip: Sometimes upsizing your lure can result in more catches.
