How long will it take to catch a bass when fishing from the bank? Today I'm keeping track of how much time I spend driving to the fishing spots, plus how much time I spend fishing before I catch my first bass. I start out at a local spot that took twenty minutes to drive to. I spend another ywenty minutes fishing there, but can't catch anything at all. Then I spend 15 more minutes in the car to get to the next spot. I start fishing again and finally get a bass at the edge of the park. I caught the bass on a roadrunner near some shallow weeds.
