Bass Fishing With Topwater IN THE RAIN (Do Bass Bite In The Rain?)

Have you tried bass fishing with topwater, in the rain? Do bass even bite in the rain? Today I am out bass fishing with a topwater popper. I am fishing from the bank on a rainy day hoping to get a bite. The fishing is a little better than I expected, but still challenging due to the heat. I miss one bass near the dock. I nearly catch another bass in front of a tree near the bank. Then after making my way back to the car, I finally catch a nice largemouth bass on topwater. I catch it casting parallel to the bank. I think the same fish may have gone for the popper twice.
