Back To Basics of Bluegill Fishing (Fishing With Fake WAX WORMS)

Today I'm going back to the basics of bluegill fishing. I'm using an artificial wax worm called a Maxie Waxie from Strike King (not sponsored). The bass fishing has been so discouraging lately so I am going back to basics. I start out fishing with a small swimbait, but after only catch one fish (a bluegill), I decide to downsize to the wax worm. This is when I start getting more bites and actually catch some nice sized fish. Many of today's bluegill are in the 8 inch range.
