It was initially developed by a French doctor, Michel Pistor, in the early 1950s as a pain relief. Mesotherapy is a popular non-surgical treatment that uses fine needles to inject serums containing various peptides, enzymes, hormones, vitamins and botanical extracts into the skin. However, please note that there isn't a specific or uniform product injected at all Mesotherapy centres. Instead, depending on the outcome you discuss with your aesthetic practitioner will determine the products used. The fine needles create tiny little breaks in the skin to inject the serum into the skin' middle layer, or the mesoderm, as it is professionally known. The treatment can be safely carried out all over the client's body, including the face, neck, chest and hands.
