In this video I’m keeping it super real: I was feeling sad and emotionally disregulated, so I did what I honestly tend to do when I need to get out of my head—go thrift shopping. I take you with me to Goodwill (the downtown San Diego 16th St location) and do a full thrift-with-me where I’m browsing the racks, chatting through what’s going on with me, and trying to shift my mood in a healthy-ish way by focusing on the hunt. I set a very specific goal: spend exactly $100, and I’m looking for both closet pieces and some homewares—secondhand, affordable, and actually usable in real life. Even though I came in with a sober mood, I still found some really amazing things, and I show you everything I picked up like a proper Goodwill haul.
