How to Make a Rustic Floating Shelf

Welcome back to the channel everyone. Today I will be making a simplified rustic or farmhouse style floating shelf. If you look around your shop I am sure you will find inspiration to make something very similar. My wife and I recently had our first son who is now 4 months. Although he has been sleeping through the night pretty well, we needed to upgrade to a better white noise maker, as our current model drains batteries. I really wanted to create something that blended in with the decor in the room and this little floating shelf made out of scraps is what I came up with.
