It’s time for my dream desk setup tour for 2026, and this one is built with longevity in mind. The foundation is a completely custom 8x7 ft L-shaped desk with 31 inches of depth, so I can keep editing, gaming, and daily work separated without constantly shifting my whole life around. I went Formica on purpose—durable, forgiving, and stupid easy to clean—plus it looks great on camera without me having to baby it. Behind the desk I added PVC wall panels for that “warped speed motion” depth, and I wrapped the corner with an L-shaped shelf made from IKEA floating shelves, then hid the seams with molding so it reads like one clean piece. For displays, everything revolves around my LG 32-inch Ultragear OLED as the main panel—deep blacks, insane contrast, and motion clarity that’s just on another level. I repurposed my older Samsung Odyssey G7 as a top monitor for secondary tasks, and I run a vertical LG ultrawide on the left for scripts, Discord, email, and anything text-heavy. The PC is the engine behind it all, and I built it to be a workhorse for both productivity and gaming—clean airflow, organized storage, and capture cards inside so I’m always ready to create. From there it’s all about the details I’m pickiest on: peripherals that earned their spot, lighting layers that give the room personality, and ergonomics (especially the chair) so I can do long sessions without getting wrecked.
