In this video, I review the Viking PureGlide Pro, a stainless steel pan with a plasma-fused titanium cooking surface that claims to deliver nonstick performance without any nonstick coating. I tested its nonstick claims by cooking eggs and other sticky foods with and without fat, and I compared it against other pans that make similar claims. I also ran scratch tests with metal utensils and a serrated knife, a multi-round salt corrosion test, and measured its heat distribution.
