The Frankenstein Method for Artists (Photobashing + Shape Carving)

Let me show you my technique for creating creatures using a unique combo of photobashing and shape carving. It's a fast, fun, and liberating way to explore designs that I think will change the way you sketch. I'll start with a simple gestural drawing and use the lasso tool to carve out forms. Then I'll integrate photos of animals and machinery, finding the design as I go and letting a unique character emerge from the abstraction.
