I mentioned the OLLO X1 because, to my ears, it does “neutral” way better than the way SoundID tries to force ‘flat’ on headphones. I’m big on the idea that neutral is a range and ear gain matters—flat-for-the-sake-of-flat can sound terrible. If you’re mixing on headphones, starting with a well-tuned pair matters a lot.
