The OLLO X1 is one of the most neutral, confidence-inspiring mixing headphones I’ve used—basically a microscope for detail and midrange decisions. With a simple calibration plus a small bass lift (I run about +2.5 dB around 60 Hz), it becomes an insanely solid platform for mix work without feeling hyped or colored.

Pros

+Very neutral and transparent; easy to trust for mix decisions
+Excellent detail retrieval (reverb/delay tails, compression artifacts, separation)
+Takes EQ extremely well, especially for low-end boosts
+Comfortable, well-built, premium feel

Cons

-Single-purpose vibe: amazing for mixing, less of a refined “finishing” tool for mastering
-Can feel a bit tight in staging compared to more open-sounding options like the R70xa
-Some people may want more bass without EQ (typical open-back expectation)
