How To Mount a Dragons Tooth

Imagine coming face to face with a winged beast so fierce that every culture in history has tales warning the innocent of the horrors they inflict. Imagine now, if you can, you're forced to fight for your life, or be eaten alive. Valiantly you do battle with this titan, swinging your axe, and dodging it's every attempt to strike you down. The fates, it would seem, favor you this day as you land a deadly blow upon the beasts throat. It collapses before your eyes. As you struggle to catch your breath, you kneel beside the monster and reflect on life. For yours was almost ended this day... You rise and begin to walk away; but suddenly you stop, as if by some mysterious force. Perhaps reflex, or perhaps madness, a smirk erects upon your face. Slowly you turn your head to face the slain creature - the smirk becomes a grin. Your hands been forced. It's impossible, unavoidable, it's fate. You cannot leave this scene without a trophy to commemorate your victory! You reach into the maw of of your foe, remove your dagger from it's sheath, and extract your reward. A Dragon's Tooth! Oh, and not just ANY dragons tooth, the tooth that, but your bravery in battle, had belonged to a beast with designs for YOU as it's breakfast. This trophy will be mounted and displayed proudly upon your mantel. It will serve as a reminder, an inspiration, and as a sign for your future generations to celebrate - for on this day, you survived, on this day, you live to fight again, on this day.... you hath slain the beast! Foam, calk, and a bit of elbow-grease along with some crafty paint techniques, and before long, you'll have a realistic looking tooth that will have paleontologists taking a second look.
