How to Make a Knife for Leathercraft (Part 1 of 2)

Leathercraft is one of my favorite things, and while some tools are best left purchased, some are worth making yourself. In this weeks video, I’m making a knife for cutting leather. I’m breaking this video into two parts. In part one, I’m grinding the blank. I will be making a second knife for leather very soon, I have some old saw blades that are just asking to be made into blades. Will this knife be the best knife for cutting leather? Too soon to say… One thing is for sure, as much as I love leather working, I love making my own leather working tools even more!
