Brush Lettering for Beginners - Easy Tips to Get Started

If you are brand new to brush lettering or feel like you struggle every time you try, this video is for you. I am walking you through the basics of brush lettering step by step, including how to hold your pen, how pressure works, and simple practice strokes you can do right away. You do not need fancy supplies or perfect handwriting to start. This is all about building confidence and muscle memory so you can actually enjoy the process. Grab a brush pen and some paper and practice along with me! NOTE: I apologize that the smaller pens I used were not functioning properly. I could have shown a much better example of smaller lettering had I used a pen that was newer, and also if I had written smaller.
