If you’re keeping budget in check but still want a projector I’d actually run in a sim, the BenQ AH700ST is on my recommended list. It’s a solid 1080p choice that can make a lot of sense depending on your space and mounting plan. I’d rather see you buy the right 1080p projector than the wrong 4K one.
