What are we still growing in October?

It's October! Autumn is here, and we are still growing food. Join me on this fall garden tour to see what is still producing! Welcome back to Pinebrook Homestead. We are a 1/2 acre property in the suburbs. We grow 50% of our food and purchase our beef and pork from local farms. The grocery store is our last resource. We cook from scratch to lessen the processed food we purchase as well as preserve what we grow. All of this contributes to our goal of saving money. Thank you for joining us on this journey. We are thrilled beyond measure to share our life with you and hopefully give you tips and tricks for saving money. We are eager to build a community within the suburbs on this page.
