Thoughts on our trip to Asheville NC

Thank you for coming back to Pinebrook Homestead. Today, we are sharing our road trip and thoughts on our trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We went to Asheville because of our connections there, but the entire region is suffering. Heartbreaking is the first thing that comes to mind. The Appalachian mountain region has been hit so hard. Devastating damage. Lives lost. Homes swept away or flooded. The media coverage is showing a small glimpse of the devastation this Hurricane caused. Winter is upon them. This morning there was snow in the mountains. Please! If you can donate... volunteer....help them rebuild...Please do! The need for warmth is critical. Heaters, blankets, temporary housing and food! We can't forget about our beautiful mountain towns. They need our help! Cheers to rebuilding lives in Appalachia!
