Started the day fishing nearshore about 9 miles off Yankeetown FL to catch a quick limit of mangrove snapper and attempt to dial in the shallow water gag grouper fishing. I think I've found the fish but I'm struggling to put a keeper in the box. In the afternoon, I headed back inshore to the oyster bar islands to fish the incoming tide. The bite was slow but I stuck it out and my patience paid off!
