ISO is one of the three primary camera settings that makes up the exposure triangle. ISO can be thought about in two ways. 1) As ISO goes higher, your camera will be able to pick up more light. Higher ISO = brighter images. 2) The quality of your image is determined in part by ISO. The higher your ISO, the lower the quality of the picture, and the lower the ISO, the higher the quality.
