HOW TO SHOOT AMAZING PORTRAITS WITH 2 LIGHTS | Home Studio Photography BTS Today's video is pretty simple, straight forward and yet very stylised. I like the simplicity of the shoot but i also love how contrasty the images look. I was able to achieve this look with colour and light contrast. First off, using the red cloth and the black paper backdrop provide a very rich colour contrast. Pairing her in the shimmering gold outfit also allows her to standout in a very bold and magnificent way. I started by testing out how much of the video light is affecting my shot I then went on to test for the position, intensity and texture of the rim light. After I got it to where i wanted, I then tested for the light from my main light, balanced the two carefully and began with my shoot.
