2 LIGHT STUDIO PORTRAITS behind the scenes | Mixing hard and soft light for portraits | Canon 5d 4

Hey guys, in today's 2 LIGHT STUDIO PORTRAITS behind the scenes video, I will be combining 2 different light modifiers to create one light source. A hard light source and a relatively soft light source will be merged to give us a balanced light on our subject. This 2 light setup using a hard light and a soft light can be great but it can also be restricting depending on how specific your main light (hard light) is. In my case, I am using a 7inch cone with a grid on it so the light is really narrow and focused. this means my subject does not have a lot of luxury to move around and play with a lot of angles as the light will change and may even become unflattering to your subject. You have to be careful when playing with this kind of lighting.
