This autonomous robot is a project of mine I started working on over a year ago. It features the Jetson Nano that can take advantage of the CUDA toolkit for AI applications and neural network libraries. This allows for advanced capabilities such as object tracking and speech recognition. The robot is powered by 3 18650 lithium ion batteries giving a battery life of several hours. Designing and building this involved a few different skill sets including CAD design, python programming, electrical design and soldering, and more. I also talk about advanced engineering concepts such as feedback control systems and PID controllers. Some of the components on the robot: WiFi + Bluetooth module (Intel 8265AC chip) Raspberry Pi camera 5V Regulator board 2 servos (MG90S) 2 DC motors (12V ZGA37RG) Custom circuit board housing PIC32 microcontroller and H-bridge for motors Directional microphone array (ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0) Stereo speakers Custom circuit board housing audio amplifier and mini OLED display IR distance sensor (VL53L0X) 360 degree lidar (EAI YDLIDAR X4) IMU + gyro module (MPU-9250) Jetson Nano: https://amzn.to/3smc99e These are affiliate links where I earn a small commission for purchases at no extra cost to you.
