In this video I’m setting up my 2026 reading journal from scratch, and I’m taking you through every spread I’m planning to use so I can actually stay on top of my reading year. I start with a cover page and then move straight into my reading goals, plus a DNF graveyard (because sometimes a book just isn’t it, and I want somewhere to park it without guilt). From there I add in my anticipated releases, a bookshelf tracker, and a favourites-by-month section so I can look back and see what really stood out as the year goes on. I also set up a bunch of fun challenge pages to keep my TBR moving in a way that feels like a game: books for 2026, USA & romance bingo boards, a book box challenge, an alphabet challenge, and even an astrology reading challenge. To keep things realistic, I include a priority series-to-finish list, a tracker for ARC reads, and a couple of “when I’m stuck” spreads like roll-it-to-read-it and a physical TBR page.
