About This Video

In this video I put together what I’d call the ultimate $1000 gaming PC build for 2026 — the kind of parts list that actually makes sense if your goal is more FPS for your money, not just buying whatever’s newest. The core of the build is an Nvidia RTX 5060 paired with AMD Ryzen, and I give you two CPU routes: the value-focused Ryzen 5 5600, or a step-up option with the Ryzen 5800 XT if you’ve got a bit more budget and want extra headroom. I’m building in the Phanteks G370A, using a solid B550 WiFi board, and yes — I’m sticking with DDR4 on purpose. At this price point, DDR4 still lets you spend where it matters (GPU and overall platform quality) without nuking your budget for tiny gains. I also run through the supporting parts like cooling, storage, and a sensible 650W PSU choice so the whole system is balanced, upgradable, and not held together by “cheap but dodgy” components. If you want a clean, no-nonsense $1000 build that’s ready for modern games, this is it.
