About This Video

If you’ve got a new puppy and you’re wondering how to socialize them safely—especially if you don’t have access to puppy-friendly dogs before that big socialization window closes around 16 weeks—this video is all about my Puppy Camp program. I’m Camille Personni, a certified positive dog trainer with 11 years of experience, and I’ve raised about a hundred puppies. I built Puppy Camp to give pups structured, safe exposure to the world, with carefully managed play and real-life training foundations. In a typical camp day, your puppy gets a fun field trip to explore new environments, plus free play with other puppies their age and a few appropriate, friendly adult dogs to model good play behavior. I’m not looking for chaotic, out-of-control “puppy party” play—our groups are supervised so puppies rehearse polite, appropriate skills. We also work on practical basics like settling in a crate or playpen for naps, riding calmly in the car, recall foundations (especially out of play), sitting for petting instead of jumping, and skills like leave it and drop it. Puppy Camp is for puppies under six months old, and it’s a great fit for busy families, super social pups, and even anxious or hesitant puppies who need slow, confidence-building introductions.
