I tested the GIK PIB Modular Mk2 in my own control room because I was sick of the workflow and the “corner vocal” vibe singers hated. It’s properly broadband, so you get an unbelievably dry capture without that low‑mid build-up you get from foam-heavy booths and reflection filters.

Cons

-Takes up space in the room compared to small foam solutions
-Can be very dead-sounding if you prefer more room in the vocal
