She refused our help… and asked us to help her neighbor instead. What happened next changed everything. We showed up offering free yard work to someone struggling with overgrowth. But instead of accepting the help for herself, she pointed us toward a neighbor she believed needed it even more. What started as a simple cleanup quickly turned into something much bigger. This family has been through a lot. Their property had become overwhelming, their riding mower no longer worked, and during the cleanup we discovered coyotes had gotten to most of their chickens.
