Jake has been restoring furniture since he was in high school. Now, he runs a businesses which helps people restore their family heirlooms to their former glory. His work in furniture restoration is fuelled by the love of the family business, as well as the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. Since filming this video, Jake has unfortunately had to close his business. He encourages others interested in pursuing a career or their interest in restoration to look into a French Polishing course.
