About This Video
In this video I walk you through how I set up a Fox 34 to feel way closer to an enduro fork—more support, less “nervous” mid-stroke, and better control when you’re pushing it. The whole point is to get that bigger-fork confidence out of a lighter chassis by being intentional with spring feel, damping balance, and how you’re using the travel. I’m not here to copy a chart and call it “dialed”—I’m trying to make it work in the real world.
I cover the setup process I use: getting your baseline pressure and sag in a sensible range, then using volume spacers (and your compression settings) to build support without making it harsh. The big takeaway is that a Fox 34 can be awesome, but it needs help to stay up and resist diving when the trail gets steep or fast. If you want the exact checklist I use, I linked my PDF setup guide, plus the fork and the tools I keep using in basically every suspension video.
