Will The Blue Crabs Hang Around With All This Rain?

This is the summer of the rain in New England. It feel like spring with all the flooding we are seeing. Does this mean the blue crabs are gonna run to higher salinity water? Well I guess not because after 6 runs on the trap and only fishing for an hour, I still managed my limit of 25 nice crab! Also add in that I used up all the skanky left over chicken from last year first which could explain a slightly slower crab count.
