The Bonito Are In! Pelagic Bite Saves The Day

Well, for me, it’s been a solid 5 or 6 years since I have been able to fish a decent Bonito bite. Well it seems this year there are a ton of medium sized Bones close to the beach across Southern New England. I was lucky that my plan to fish for them worked out as I was rewarded with 2 and several of the largest Chub Mackerel that I have ever seen. After this, the bottom bite was ok with a decent amount of just short fluke and seabass. Just enough to keep it interesting.
