Fishing For Sea Monsters With A Moment That will Haunt Me Forever....

This is a trip of a lifetime! We found ourselves with a perfect weather window to get wayyyyyyy offshore WITH A BUDDY BOAT in search of the rare and elusive Atlantic Halibut. While out there we encountered plenty of pollock and Dan catches a another rare species, a monkfish. I ended up hooking a mystery fish we conclude was a halibut, and a good sized one before losing it from a pulled hook. This adventure was a once in a lifetime experience and even though I lost my unicorn, it was still an amazing experience.
