About This Video

In this video, I walk you through my COMPLETE guide to Salesforce Certifications in 2026—because when it comes to a Salesforce career, there isn’t just one “right” route. I’ve built a Salesforce certification map to help you choose a pathway that actually matches your goals, whether you’re starting from scratch or you’re aiming all the way up at CTA. I break down the cert landscape into clear pathways (Associate, Admin, Specialist, Developer, Consultant, Architect, Marketer, Designer, and Artificial Intelligence) and explain why dividing them up wasn’t easy—Salesforce careers can take a lot of different turns. I also cover the rules you can’t ignore: prerequisites. Some certifications form the backbone of progression (for example, you need Admin before Advanced Admin), while dotted-line relationships show certs that connect but aren’t strict requirements. Alongside that, I call out what really matters in the long run: real-world, hands-on experience. Certs help unlock opportunities, but Salesforce writes questions to filter out people who haven’t actually used the products. Finally, I highlight a couple of outliers (like CPQ Specialist and Platform App Builder) and an important 2026 update: the AI Associate cert was retired in February 2026, replaced by the Agentblazer status program.
