After that, I walk through battery-related resets for Dyson models that have a removable battery. I explain how to unplug it from the charger, remove the battery, find the reset button on the battery or the vacuum, and hold it for about 10 seconds before reinstalling and charging again. I also talk about what to do when you see error messages or flashing lights—because that’s where your user manual becomes important since each model can have different codes and button combinations.
