In this video, I show you exactly how to redeem an Uber Eats gift card in just a couple of minutes. Whether someone gifted you a card or you grabbed one for yourself, the process is pretty straightforward—as long as you know where to tap. I start by opening the Uber Eats app and I recommend making sure it’s updated to the latest version, because that’s usually what keeps the options in the right place and avoids random glitches. From the main screen, I walk you through going to your Account (profile) icon, then heading into Wallet. That’s where you manage payments and balances, and it’s also where you’ll see “Add payment method” or “Add gift card.” Once you choose Gift Card, you’ll enter the gift code/PIN carefully and—this is important—without any spaces. After you tap Add, the balance goes straight into your Uber Money. I also cover what happens at checkout: Uber Money should apply automatically to your next Uber Eats order (or even an Uber ride), but if it doesn’t, you can switch to it manually on the payment screen before you place the order. And I always suggest keeping a valid payment method on file, just in case, so everything runs smoothly.
