Enjoy my Tyasoleil / Aixoto Halo Head Strap for Oculus Quest 2 Review. You can buy the halo strap for $25.95 (with coupon) from Amazon US here → https://amzn.to/3FPU9X3 or for £31.45 (with 15% vounter) from Amazon UK here → https://amzn.to/3DJvIZz. In this video I take a look at the latest halo head strap update from Tyasoleil (in Europe) or Aixoto (in the US). I have already covered their updated halo strap some months back, but this one has had some much needed improvements in the front and also at the rear of the head strap. Up front they have joined the front halo band with the sides in one continuous piece of plastic, which makes the front more rigid and it reduces any wobble from the front of the headset, where it needs the support the most. At the sides they have added a little detail with some silver connection pieces and a black coloured adjustment strap that is attached to a new rear pad design. This new rear pad design allows for a more dedicated hole for the optional top head strap, whilst the there is much better rear foam padding that is not only comfy it also has a little extra support at the base of the neck, thanks to the addition of a curved bar, that can be also used for battery strap attachment. I found the adjustment dial to be a little more firmer and less likely to slip when tightened, however because of this its sound is very loud when you crank it tighter. Luckily, when tightened to your liking you shouldn't need to adjust it much more once you slip it over your head. Headphone support with this strap is also decent. My Bose QuietComfort 35s fit in very well underneath the side straps, as did the SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth headphones after a little careful positioning. Overall, I found this design to be a positive evolutionary step forward to the standard halo strap design. Is it the best? That would depend on your personal preference. As original halo straps go (discounting BestorX and BOBOVR), this is up there as one of the best in terms of overall comfort. Its front and back packing is very soft and comfortable, that I can see long sessions wouldn't be a concern in this head strap. I would have a liked a smoother, quieter adjustment dial, a little firmer front head pad, and a wider rear padding support. The current rear pad is OK, but to really make it more comfy and supportive, being an inch wider on either side could enhance this already comfy strap. If you are on the lookout for a classic halo strap, then this halo strap from Tyasoleil / Aixoto ticks many boxes and it comes in at a price that doesn't break the bank. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY QUEST 2 SETUP: I update my Quest 2 setup regularly whenever there is a new accessory that I want to keep on my Quest 2.
