Learning to Cross Step at 53 | Can an Old Dog Learn New Tricks | Cardiff, CA

Finally got one of my really old 10'0"s fixed up and ready to ride. I think I'm gonna try and learn to cross step on this board, that's my goal every time I take this board out. I also need to remember to angle the camera down at my feet to get better footage of me trying to cross step. First time surfing the Johnny Rice in 13 years and probably even longer the last time I surfed Cardiff Reef. Kinda scored the reef, not crowded and really clean with some fun waist high waves, perfect first day on the Johnny Rice. Locals were also really friendly and shared waves with me, much Mahalos for that! And I wasn't cold! combination of new suit, acclimating to the cold water and maybe the water starting to warm up?
