This camping trip was one of those “decide on Saturday morning and send it” kind of weekends. I took the new Honda Element E-Camper out into the Cascade Mountains with three ladies, and yeah… we ended up staying in a campsite that was RESERVED. Before you go lighting me up in the comments, watch it all the way to the end—because the way it plays out is exactly why I titled this video the way I did. I’m also giving you a closer look at my custom Element camper setup—my little “VW vibes” tiny home on wheels—and what it’s like to actually use it when plans change fast. We cook, hang out, and deal with the real-world awkwardness of camping when someone unexpected shows up. Then we pivot last minute and head to Overland Expo PNW in Redmond, Oregon, where I got to connect with friends (Jaylena, Isaac, and Ember) and check out some seriously rad gear. Takeaway: have a plan, have a backup plan, and don’t assume a “quiet night” is guaranteed—especially when you’re camping close to other humans.
