Hey babes 💕 in this vlog I’m carrying you guys through my real, raw experience with Storm Melissa right here in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. From early updates with the sky getting dark and the breeze getting heavier, to the moment it really start feel serious—me not even going to lie, I was terrified. The wind was howling, the doors were literally going “boom boom boom,” and at one point I was so panicked I couldn’t even remember the word “container” while I’m watching it come closer and closer to my window. I show you how the storm mash up things around me—trees getting uprooted, my neighbor roof getting damage, and my own room flooding out. I was shaking, stressed, and just trying not to panic while keeping my faith in God, because honestly it did feel like “somebody come destroy we.” After it ease up a bit, I talk about the cleanup and the aftermath, and just how draining it is to deal with water in the house while rain still a fall.
