So before you set up your custom domain, you need to get a domain. The best place you can go to is ‘namecheap,’ so you can go to nicktsai.com/namecheap/ to get your domain. After you have your domain, all you need to do is click on your site. You go to click on your site name, then you can go to ‘Domains’ and click on ‘Add domain.’ then you want to choose the ‘I purchased this domain’ option. So you want to go to your ‘namecheap’ account, or your ‘godaddy’ account, and choose your domain. We are going to copy the domain we're going to use, then we go back to the dashboard, click on ‘Add domain’ and paste the domain as shown in the video. Then we're going to want to click on ‘next.’ Then we have to manually set up the DNS. As you can see in the video, we copy the value, and then we go back to the advanced DNS. You can point the CNAME record as shown, and you can also add a new record. After you are done, you can you can click on ‘save.’ You may need to wait for a while, so that it can update the DNS. The next thing you want to do is go to your site. Follow the steps as shown in the video, and click on WP admin. Then you want to go to your ‘Setting’ to change your website domain.
