You can use it to generate traffic, and sales and leads while spending no money whatsoever on expensive ads. This can help you in establishing your business or brand when you face the problem of a low budget. Hey what's going on? Nick Tsai here. In this video, I want to talk about SEO or Search Engine Optimization. So what is Search Engine Optimization? When you go to Google or Yahoo or Bing, you search for something. This kind of website is called search engine. When you search for something, maybe you type ‘how to lose weight,’ Google, Yahoo, or Bing will show you some search results. So how do those platform determine which results should be on top, and which should be the second one. They are actually based on what we call an algorithm. So they are based on this algorithm to determine which result should be the top one, and which should be the second one. In this way, we can actually design our web page, or our video so that it meets their criteria. The better we do, the better rank we will get, so if you do a great job, you can bring your content on top of the search result. This means when people are searching that keyword, then you can get those traffic for free. This technique is called SEO; Search Engine Optimization, which means we optimize our site or video in a way that Google or Bing or Yahoo love, so that they can rank our content on top of their search engine, and we will get free traffic. The power of this lies in the fact that nowadays, all the ads are super expensive so if you want to buy an ad over there, it'll be like 10 dollars per click, or sometimes twenty dollars per click; but if you can rank on top of Google…guess what? You get all of that traffic for free, so that's a power. There are two ways you can go about to get traffic from search engine by applying SEO. The first way is you can do blogging, so blogging is by far the best way for you to do Search Engine Optimization, because you can outsource that, and you don't have to do everything yourself. But another way, if you don't want to write, is you can do YouTube videos as well. You can record a YouTube video, and you can apply SEO; then you can rank on top of Google as well.
