So, in this video, I want to share a really powerful strategy to get the lateral traffic which is ‘long tail keywords’. So, I remember when that first got started, I made a great mistake because I tried to rank on the keywords ‘how to sell on Amazon’. And guess my website is new, so it’s actually really hard, so I tried to spend dozens of money to organize my articles, to get links, but yeah it’s really hard for me to get ranks for those keywords. So, I spent so much money on the keywords, but I did not make much money from that. So, I feel frustrated. Then, I learnt about long tail theory – so they say that, in any market, there are always two different types of keywords. The first one is the high competition main keywords and also, there are many low competition, low such value long tail keywords. Most of the time, the main keywords have much more value but the competition is like crazy. So, yeah, even though it’s really great that you can get ranked on those major keywords like how to lose weight, how to make money online – it’s so hard to compete with these big guts. So, if you just get started, instead of competing in those major key words, it is smarter for you to try to create content for those long tail keywords. So, for example, if the major keyword is how to lose weight, the long tail keyword can be how to lose weight for women under 30. So, we can say, whose going to search that term but yeah there are so many long tail keywords. So, yeah it is pretty long, so if you can create that much content on the long tail keyword.
