Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicktsaim... My site: https://nicktsai.com/ It’s really hard to know which audience you should target when you are starting a business. Mistakes in this process can badly cost you in your business. So in this sort video, I will talk about the criteria you need to have fulfilled before identifying anyone as your hungry buyer. Let’s get started! So a few years ago, this guy wanted to make money online. He did his research, and found that there’s a keyword which has so much value, and so little competition. That little keyword was coupon. So he decided to create a course teaching people how to buy coupons to save money. He worked on this project for a few months, and then he eventually launched his course. But afterwards, he found it really hard to sell. No one was even buying that course. He was frustrated that why is no one buying my course. Then he realized something. People who are searching for coupons just want to save money. There’s no reason for you to persuade them to pay extra money to learn how to buy coupons. That’s why before you write your content, you want to know who you are writing for. So that’s your ideal customer, and your ideal customers must be some kind of hungry buyers. So in this video I want to talk about five different criteria you need, to qualify them as our hungry buyers. They should be buyers. This is really obvious. This is my favorite quote from Dan Kennedy: buyers are buyers are buyers. So you want to base your demographic and psychographic data on buyer data, so you don't want to just imagine someone as your ideal customer avatar. You want to base your data on real life information. So one way I like to go about that is I like to buy into groups. Maybe I know that my target audience buyers will buy a certain course. And they will be in some kind of paid group, so I would just buy the course in order to get into a group, so I can interact with those people to know who they really are. Thus, I have a real life example rather than just thinking about what I want. So don't imagine your ideal customer, you want to find a real-life example so you can base your data on that. They are in pain. So people will pay more for pain killers than vitamins. It's a brutal true because it means that people don't really care much about their health until they feel really bad. So you want to create something that can help them solve their pain. And you want to make sure they're really in pain so then you can really sell a lot. They should be targetable. No matter if you are doing Facebook marketing or YouTube marketing or you are blogging, you want to make sure you can those audience. So if you're doing Facebook marketing, you want to make sure they are in a certain group, or they are liking certain pages, so you can target using ads. Or if they're on YouTube or on a blog, or on Google you want to make sure they have some type of keyword that they are searching for. If they are searching for some keywords, you know you can target them on that basis. They should be large in number. If there are only 100 people in the world, it is really hard for you to scale. So you want to make sure that there's enough people in the market. They should be hungry for your solution. This one is the most important one, because sometimes they may be a buyer, but they may not buy your type of product, so you want to make sure that you are selling what a lot of people are already buying. Also, you want to make sure that your opportunity is a new thing because they may have different solutions before, and they will obviously say that ‘I have tried this before.’ So you want to frame your solution, your service, or your product as something new right. So that's the reason why we need to sell to hungry buyers. We want to offer them a new solution. That's it for this video. I hope you enjoyed it, and learned a lot about targeting hungry buyers. We hope this will help you in setting up flourishing businesses. Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE as there is more content to come. I will see you soon in the next video. #targethungrybuyers #Nicktsai
