Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicktsaim... My site: https://nicktsai.com/ Selling your courses online is a very lucrative process. It helps you impart your knowledge, and also earn money along the way. While selling your own course online can first appear to be a daunting process, it can become quite easy and profitable if you follow certain practices. I have laid those out in my videos, and trainings. Do you want to publish your online course? Hey, what’s going on? My name is Nick Tsai. In the past few years, I have been publishing courses on different platforms; Udemy, on my site, Shareskills, things like that. And some of them were really great success, and some of them were total bomb. So I learned this the really hard way. I remember sometimes I published a course, and after a few months when I went back to check it, I figured out no one is even watching it. It’s really frustrating, so I learned this the hard way. So that’s the reason why I want to share with you my system about publishing courses. If you want to learn more, you can click on the link below this video, or you can go to thecoursecreationchallenge.com to learn about more. So there are four easy steps. Get Ideas and Research The first one is you want to get ideas, and you want to do research. This is because sometimes you may have ideas, but maybe there is no value for that idea, because no one is searching for the keyword. For example, maybe you have interest in a really rare topic, and you want to publish a course on that, but actually, no one is searching for it. Even though you spend months to create the course, no one is searching for that. Another mistake people will make is they will try to publish a really high demand course, in a really high competition niche. If you want to publish a course on ‘how to lose weight,’ you can expect a lot of competition there. You want to find the sweet spot, you want to find a course which is high demand, and also low competition. So that’s the key here. Creation The second step is you want to create the content. Now many people will stop at this part because they don't feel confident on camera. There’s actually a really easy process that you can use to create your content really fast. So if you want to learn that, you can go to my free training as well. Upload and Optimize Then after you create your content, all we have to do is to upload and optimize. The common mistake people are making here is they only upload the content, and they forget it. Then they go to create another course. You actually want to spend some time to optimize your title, your description, your thumbnail, and also your content. This is because on websites like Udemy people will give you feedback, and reviews over time, so you can actually refine your content over time. You can make your course better and better, and make it a really great course. You want to take advantage of that, you want to use the feedback to get your course better. After that, you can go to scale. Scale Don’t just stay on Udemy all the time, or don’t just stay on the course sites. The best way for you to scale is you move the same content to your own site. So that you can build a real business. This is because you can drive traffic from all around the world. That’s the way of doing things. #sellonUdemy #Nicktsai
