But there are multiple ways to go about it. You want to choose the best method so you are able to get high quality audience. This will help you in establishing your business or brand. Now I’ve been doing blogging for a long time, and I have figured out that there are many ways in which you can make money with your blog. You can do affiliate marketing, you can do Google PPC, or Google AdSense, etc. The best way I found to build a long-term business is list building. Let’s compare the difference: Google AdSense will give you money if you get a click. If you monetize your website with Google AdSense, they're going to put the ads so close to the content. You can accidentally click on the ad, or sometimes they will make it of the same color as the content, so you accidentally click on the ad. That's how people make money with Google AdSense. But it gives the audience a really bad user experience, so Google hates that. If Google finds that you are doing that, they will suspend your account, so that's a problem right. The top bloggers, instead of placing those ads within the content, are making the content, and then placing an ad for a free offer, so they're going to give away something for free, maybe it's a free training, maybe it's a free video, in exchange of newer email address. So you can see that most of time after you read the content, at the end of the content, they will give you some offers, and call-to-action like ‘hey, if you want to learn more, you can go get this free report,’ or they have some banner ad, or some pop-up, because all they want to do is get your email address. They will give you a free report, so if you leave your email address you, can get the free training, or free report, and you will become a subscriber to their email newsletter. That's the beauty, because right now, they can send you all the promotional emails to your inbox, and they can do that for free. That's a power because as long as you build a trust with your followers, you can easily sell anything to them. That's a key here. Instead of earning money from those clicks, you make money from building trust, building a brand, and building a relationship. That's how you make money with blogging. That is it from this video.
